David's 40th birthday was spent with Carol and Colin in Bristol. Daughter, Pip and her husband, Jack joined us for a beautiful dinner prepared by Carol and Colin (Wally). The rainbow birthday cake was a star attraction!
After a relaxed breakfast on a cooler day for the actual day of Dave's birthday we drove to Clifton Bridge where we all enjoyed playing with Millie and Indi in the park before a walk across the suspension bridge. Coffees and hot chocolates to follow were very welcome.
Ince again we parted with the family to drive to Heathrow for an overnight stop orior to our flight to Ireland.
